The MIP is a member-driven partnership. As such, the Working Committee was developed to oversee the Partnership's strategy, vision, mission and goals. The Working Committee is comprised of MIP member companies who act in a similar fashion to a company's Board of Directors. The Working Committee determines yearly goals and objectives for the MIP.
To accomplish our goals and objectives, we have created several sub-committees. The following is a list and description of our sub-committees.
Communications Committee The purpose of the communications committee is to develop effective and efficient means of communication. To accomplish this we have developed a website, have created a group on LinkedIn, have a Blog page and even have a twitter page.
Moving forward, we are always looking for suggestions on how to improve and would value anyone who would like to join this committee or has a suggestion. This committee is chaired by Kris Wint. Contact him with suggestions or requests to join at kwint@hkgroup.com
Strategic Planning Committee The purpose of the Strategic Planning Committee is to identify and propose strategies and objectives for the Partnership to keep us moving forward, thinking creatively and continuing to improve.

New Hire Pipeline Committee The purpose of the New Hire Pipeline Committee is provide shared tools to help attract and select new employment candidates for the mining industry. Special focus will be on existing solutions that can be tailored to the MIP.
